More minor things, but for the better
Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that Level 2 is now being worked on, and some small changes were implemented as well. Though, some of these may have made it to the web build and could be causing some bugs, so I am trying to get Level 2 done soon. But, now for some new features:
Not in the Web Build:
- Items can now be collected before the animation is finished playing, but enemies will still wait to move (and possibly can't be killed, though I haven't tested this) until after the animation is finished.
- Differing jump heights. Now, if you tap your jump key it will do a small jump, but if you hold it you will jump higher. Also, I finally added the space bar to the jump key binds (I kept meaning to do this, and then forgot)
The following have been released to the Web Build accidentally:
- The player can walk up to a wall, and will be a lot closer than in the initial release. While it is fixed in the next version, the current version has a bug where enemies will not always recognize the player hitting them and will kill the player anyway
- Tutorial boxes were moved slightly, so anyone new can see that an enemy is in the first box before hitting it
- Background Crystals. They are just decorative, but it looks nicer to see them than only clouds when you jump high enough
